Reserved to professional operators (that is, authors, illustrators, literary agents, licensors and licensees, packagers, distributors, printers, booksellers, and librarians), the Bologna Children’s Book Fair is the most important international occasion completely dedicated to the children’s latest sector trend in publishing.

In Bologna, the meeting shows the very best of children’s publishing and multimedia production,  with about 1300 exhibitors coming from 67 countries. This is undoubtly a great opportunities to make  contacts inside the very best production of this publishing  sector, ranging from the children’s copyright to the very product.

For the 48th edition, the Fair will offer more than 20.000 square meters of exhibition space. The fair will give to all exhibitors and visitors also special initiatives to join in, as it does each year.

Incredible and always poignant opportunity for the professional to go deeper in their knowledge of children’s copyright content ,but also the fair is a gorgeous event planned for enhancing  personal and professional bonds.

Interesting  the Literary Agents Centre, that is a place of honor for the exchange of copyrights, the Illustrators Exhibition, meaning  the largest and most famous international display of the innovative trends in children’s illustration.  Lithuania is the 2011 Guest of Honour for this part of the fair, with a selection of its best illustrators.

A full programme of events is ready for you: it wil be possible to assist to meetings, many  debates and various lectures and participate to the vernissage for the illustrators’ exhibition.

At the end of the fair it will be also an awards ceremony.
